@Kathleen - Your IM conversation summed up what Eddie kind of defined in his last post as the &lt;a href=&quot;http://emerille.wordpress.com/2008/11/10/the-great-divide-tradional-marketing-vs-social-media-marketing/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Social Divide&lt;/a&gt;.  I think that is such a great term to describe it.  

I&#039;ve been so consumed with writing on Web Analytics lately as I&#039;ve prepared for all these conferences I&#039;ve neglected the Social Media nut deep down inside lately.  The Stamats conference has brought back the need to open the channels of dicussion around that subject to the Higher Education community again.  Guess I also need a life instead of sitting around a computer surfing and reading the web all day and night.</description>
