Web Tv is really becoming popular, my girl friend has started watching old episodes of House on her laptop. Now when non technical people begin using online TV services you know it has arrived. I think we are now just beginning to reach the potential of watching TV on the internet. Is it possible that the traditional TV industry is in trouble?

@JBourne just go to RadioShack and ask them about the Gigaware product. The box says PC-Mac so I’m sure it will work. You just plug up the VGA, USB, and Audio jack into your Mac and you should be good to go. I’ve got mine running through my Onkyo surround sound system so it even sounds awesome!

I agree it will be tough to catch up with Apple. Android will be Google’s attempt and I think there will be promise, but realistically the days of Windows Mobile, Blackberry, and Palm OS in their current forms are obsolete.

I was just thinking about finding a way to hook my macbook up to my TV so I could watch movies from Netflix on it. Thanks for the product, I had no clue how to go about it, but I’ll go and ask them if it’ll work.

Also, Apple is releasing a 3G iPhone this June or July. It’ll be a big deal because 3G is faster than the Edge network and really will silence anyone who has a problem with the speed. Plus, the SDK applications come out in June as well, so people will be able to customize their iPhone even more. Really is going to be tough to catch up with Apple.
