How easy is it to remove members from a Ning group? Can you do a data import or do you have to go one-by-one?

@Karine We will be sending e-mails to the students we will be manually removing from the Cafe (those who did not pay their deposits) in the next couple of weeks, so I haven’t yet crafted that message.

@Jess I didn’t even know you could export any e-mail addresses at all from FB groups. What about Pages? Did you find a 3rd party app to do this?

Did you send a notice to explain the change in their status membership to the students that were removed from the community?

Its funny, I also was trying to see if our FB Group for the class had yielded deposits. I was only able to export half of the members and found that 80% had deposited. Its interesting to see the outcomes that you had with your closed community, since this is something thats been on the minds of many in the higher ed social media space – closed or open? Great to hear the trials of your hard work!
