A Special Thanks From Three the HEWEB Way

Well, it’s that time folks. HighEdWeb 2012 is now upon us, and thanks to the generous donations of many of you, we were able to help send three lucky folks there who would not have been able to go otherwise. We wanted to take a moment and publicly thank everyone that made this possible. If you see any of these folks out and about, at the conference or otherwise, be sure to thank them!

In no particular order (except for Chris, because he’s super special):

Chris Wiegman (bit51.com)
Chris is currently a web developer for St. Edward’s University and was previously a web developer for the Aviation Programs at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He left SIUC Aviation to take a position as a web developer where he currently works with a team to develop and maintain the websites for nearly all departments and units on campus using technologies ranging from WordPress and Drupal to CakePHP.

Thanks again to everyone for making this happen! It was amazing to put this together and see it work out so well. We always say this community rocks our faces off, and this just goes to show it.
